- Cut the following layers:
- Pacific Point cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
- Fine Shimmer Paper (Fresh Freesia): 5-3/8" x 4"
- By the Bay DSP (wavy lines on Night of Navy): 5-1/4: x 4" (die cut with largest and third largest Stitched Rectangles)
- Shimmery White cardstock: 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" (stamp sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento), 2-1/2" x 1" (stamp shells in Sahara Sand, die cut, and paint with Wink of Stella)
- Stamp the birds on a piece of Stampin' Masking Paper, and fussy-cut them, slightly inside the stamped images (you don't need the legs). Stamp the birds in Soft Suede on the Shimmery White paper, and adhere the masking paper to each bird.
- Cut a 1" circle and sandbank from Stampin' Masking Paper, and apply to Shimmery White Cardstock layer.
- Add ink around masked sun with Blending Brushes, starting with Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, and Pacific Point.
- Mask the sky above the water and apply Bermuda Bay to the water.
- Remove sandbank masking paper, adhere the "negative" piece to the sky, and use a Sponge Dauber to add Sahara Sand ink to the top edge of the sandbank. Add some texture dots with Sahara Sand, and add more Sahara Sand ink to the sand with Blending Brushes.
- Remove the masking paper from the sky and stamp the grass (from Oceanfront stamp set) in Mossy Meadow. Add a little Daffodil Delight ink to the sun with a Blending Brush.
- Adhere the shells to the Shimmery White layer.
- Tie a 15" strand of Linen Thread around the layer and tie into a bow.
- Adhere the Fine Shimmer Paper to the Night of Navy card base.
- Centre the Shimmery White layer and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue
- Adhere the DSP frame with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Remove the masking paper from the birds.
