Noel Tidings Merry Christmas Card--September Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to our September Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! This month we are celebrating our new September-December Holiday Catalogue! You can see this catalogue by clicking the link in the right sidebar. 🎄

 

I chose to highlight the new Noel Tidings Bundle, a versatile bundle that's part of the Neutral Noel Suite! Besides the stamps and dies from the Noel Tidings Bundle, I used the gorgeous Neutral Noel 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots, the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder, and the Neutral Jute Combo Pack. You can see all of the products listed below.

The touches of gold foil in the Neutral Noel Specialty Paper gives this card an understated elegance. I couldn't choose which paper to use, so I used alternating strips of two of the gorgeous specialty papers. The colours I used are Mossy Meadow, Basic Beige, and a touch of Real Red for a pop of colour. The white twine from the combo pack is coloured with a Light Real Red Blends alcohol marker.

The sentiment was stamped with Real Red on an oval cut from the die set, embossed with the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder, and added to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Holly Jolly Branches "From Me to You Card"

I made this card using the beautifully curated collection of products (which I just love!) that we are using for our Holly Jolly Branches Online MEGA Stamp Camp. I used the Holly Jolly Branches Bundle (stamps & dies), the Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper (Stampin' Up! is donating $4 from each pack to organizations to help spread holiday cheer!), Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Sequins, and the White 3/8" Textured Ribbon. This card is not one we are making during the Stamp Camp, but you can see how festive and fun this collection is!

Relaxing Waterside Fun-Fold Card--August Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to our August Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! This month we are creating fun-fold cards! If you've visited my blog before, you may know that these are my favourite type of cards!

 

I used the Relaxing Waterfront bundle (stamps & dies)--one of my favourite bundles! I created a faux centre-step fun-fold card, making a fun-fold version of a card in one of my recent blog posts.

I stamped the chair and book on a piece of Country Woods Designer Series Paper (DSP) and then die-cut them. I also used a strip of Mixed-Up Patterns DSP as a deck.

Azure Afternoon ink was used for both the sky and the water--added with a Blending Brush for the sky, and with a Water Painter for the water. I added Old Olive grass and bull rushes (with Early Espresso tops).

The sentiment was stamped in Blueberry Bushel, and the bird was stamped in Basic Gray ink. I coloured the Rhinestone Basic Jewels with an Azure Afternoon Blends.

Relaxing Waterside - June Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop

 

Welcome to our June Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! This month we are creating a card using a Sketch Challenge (see below), which I love doing! 😊 The sketch always helps me out with my design, although you'll notice that I followed it very loosely this time. (Here's a challenge--see what you can see that follows the sketch. 😉)

Here is the sketch we used for our challenge.

I used the Relaxing Waterside Bundle for this card, which I love! This has been an extremely popular suite! 

I stamped the chair and book images onto some Country Woods Designer Series Paper (DSP), and then die cut them. I used a Water Painter, and picked up some Coastal Cabana ink, and painted a wash for the water, and then used a Blending Brush to add some Azure Afternoon ink to the background for the sky. 

I stamped the seagull and the sentiment (which was die cut with a Stylish Shapes Die). I die cut the bullrushes, and added all of the pieces to the background. (Did you notice that those last three elements were in place of the three flowers?) I added some Shimmering Dots and Linen Thread (ha!--a regulation element! 😉) to finish the card.
