Around the Bend Thank You Card #2

Hello, and thanks for visiting my post for Kylie and Bruno Bertucci's March Demonstrator Training Blog Hop! I made this card with our Around the Bend bundle, which I just love--especially the dies, which are incredible!

I am co-hosting an online class with the very talented Lori Willcox using this bundle, and I'd love for you to join us! All details are below.

This is the inside of the card, with a stitched circle
added for your message!

You will make 6 cards--we won't be making this card in the class, but you'll be able to make it (or one very similar) using the bundle. If you live in Canada, the class, 6 Make & Take card kits, unlimited exclusive access to our Facebook group, written tutorial directions, and more are FREE with the purchase of the bundle. If you live outside Canada, we have an option for you, too! See all details and register below! Directions for this card are near the bottom of this blog post.

I love how you can see the beautiful Designer Series Paper
through the holes in this die! Our Glossy Dots add some shine!

Be sure to check out all of the beautiful creations in our blog hop here:

NEW! Around the Bend Online Class!
Registration Ends Soon!

I am thrilled to announce a new Around the Bend Bundle Online Class that I am co-hosting with the very talented Lori Willcox! I can't wait for this event--it will be so much fun, and we will be making some beautiful cards with you! Please join us!

Lori Willcox and I are very excited to bring you a new online event, our Around the Bend Class! This class is FREE with the purchase of the bundle (or equivalent value)! Join us at 10:00 am PST on Sunday, April 2nd to make 6 cards with this AWESOME bundle!  There will be LIVE sessions between 10:00 am and 2:30 pm PST (including 6 project presentations, some info on current promotions, and prize draws) which you can watch from anywhere in Canada (see Choice #3 below for non-Canadian residents).

To participate in our class sessions, you will need inks, adhesives, a paper trimmer and a die cutting machine such as our Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

Included are:

  • 6 card kits including all cardstock, Designer Series Paper, embellishments, envelopes, and any die cuts not included in the Around the Bend Bundle
  • Membership to an exclusive Facebook group
  • 6 LIVE video presentations - these will be recorded so you can watch again and again
  • 6 written tutorials in a printable PDF
  • Entry into our Prize Draws!

Choice #1: Get all of the above FREE with the purchase of the Around the Bend Bundle for a total of $71 + shipping/taxes from my online store. Please note that you will have a choice of the bundle with the cling stamps (160650) or the photopolymer stamps (162383). We will be using both in our demonstrations, so either is fine!

Order as soon as possible (but no later than March 16th!), using the host code link below, to be sure to get your order in time (with less chance of backorders).

Choice # 2: If you already own the Around the Bend Bundle, you can choose this option and get everything mentioned in Choice 1 FREE! You just have to place an order of $71 or more of any products (before shipping/taxes) in my online store using my host code link below.

Here is the link to order with my host code:

Choice #3 (for non-Canadian residents only): For $22 CAD (roughly $16 USD), you will have access to the videos and PDF tutorials, and can join us in our exclusive Facebook group! Register on the link below by March 29th and I’ll send you a PayPal invoice!

Card kits will be mailed by March 20th. We know that shipping times can vary these days so there is a slight possibility that they will arrive after the class. If so, you can still enjoy the class with us and put your card kits together afterwards! You can also pick up your package from my home.

The Around the Bend Bundle

I hope that you will join us! Our last online class was a lot of fun!

Full Directions for my Around the Bend Thank You Card:
  1. Cut the following layers:
    • Orchid Oasis cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
    • Balmy Blue cardstock: 1 1/8" x 5 1/2" (embossed with Painted Texture 3D embossing folder); 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" (die cut with fifth largest scalloped Layering Circles die)
    • Fresh Freesia cardstock:  2" x 2" (stamp sentiment with Orchid Oasis, and then die cut with third smallest Stylish Shapes circle die)
    • Basic White cardstock: 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" (die cut with largest Stylish Shapes circle die)
    • Fancy Flora DSP: 3" x 5 3/8"
  2. Place the die on the card front as shown, and cut.
  3. Adhere DSP to the right inside of card, leaving a 1/16" margin at the top, bottom and right edge.
  4. Adhere embossed Balmy Blue strip to the left, touching the DSP.
  5. Trim the left edge of the Basic White circle, and adhere inside the card as shown, so that it can't be seen through the holes of the card front.
  6. Adhere the Fresh Freesia circle to the Balmy Blue scalloped circle, and then add to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. Add three Balmy Blue Glossy Dots to the card front.
I'd love for you to comment below, if you have a moment. 😊
