Fun-Fold Lighthouse Card

In one of our Virtual Technique Clubs, we were challenged to make a card using the same fun-fold design. Here is the one I made using Sailing Home and High Tide. I was really happy with how it turned out!

Double Wonder Challenge!!

Our card making group is now meeting every week online.  It is great to see our friends--it gives a sense of normalcy during these challenging times, and we share our projects for inspiration.  My sister decided to issue us a weekly challenge.  This week's challenge was a Double Wonder, developed by Shannon West of Stampin' Up!  It uses two double-sided sheets of 12" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I loved the cards that Julie Davison made, and here is my take on them.  You can get 11 cards from this method of cutting DSP!

March Paper Pumpkin Cards

These alternative cards are one-quarter of the cards that I made using my March Paper Pumpkin kit!!! Using Rachel Tessman's plan and some extra cardstock, I got 36 full-sized cards from the kit!!  I can hardly wait until my April Paper Pumpkin kit arrives!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! I hope that all of you are keeping well, and that you’ve been able to visit with your family via FaceTime, or something similar. A week ago, at our Virtual Technique Club, we made a gorgeous Peaceful Moments card—a CASE of Susan Campfield’s. I love this fun pop-up card!! We were challenged to use the layout to make our own version. I made one using Bonanza Buddies (see below). Today’s card is made with Welcome Easter.

A Wonderful Gift!!!

My second-last "pre-pandemic" class was one that my niece hosted, and it was a Christmas gift from her to four lovely ladies. Here are the cards that we made. I have been making lots of cards these days, trying to de-stress and take my mind off things!

I love how the Subtle and Coastal Weave 3D embossing folders add texture to our first card! Sadly, the stamp set is now retired. Thanks to Lori Willcox for the card design.

The second card was a snap to make, using the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards, which come in an adorable tin. Thanks to Lori Willcox for the card design.

This card uses the Beauty Abounds stamp set. Thanks to Angela McKay for this card design!

Our absolutely gorgeous Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper, Floral Essence Bundle, and Swirls & Curls embossing folder were used to make the our fourth card. Thanks to Lori Willcox for the card design.

The fifth card, CASEd from Mary Deatheridge, uses the gorgeous Very Versailles stamp set, Stitched Nested Labels Dies, the Subtle 3D Embossing folder, and some copper embossing powder. A multi-loop bow of Linen Thread finishes it off nicely!
