NEW 2024-2026 Colours! Coast to Coast Creators May Blog Hop

 

This card shows all five of our new 2024-2026 "In Colors"!

 

Welcome to our May Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! This month we are highlighting our brand new colours from our 2024 Annual Catalogue, which I absolutely love! My card features all five new 2024-2026 "In Colors"--Shy Shamrock, Pretty in Pink, Summer Splash, Petunia Pop, and Peach Pie. I also used our Spotlight in Nature Bundle (stamp set and dies) to stamp the sentiment and die cut the gorgeous label.

I cut 1" strips of cardstock and Designer Series Paper (2024-2026 In Color 6" x 6" DSP), and then adhered them to a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" layer of Pretty Peacock cardstock, leaving a little less than 1/8" between each strip. After I trimmed the excess pieces, I embossed the whole layer with our new So Swirly Embossing Folder. I really like the look of the pieced and embossed layer!

I added the resulting card front onto a Pretty Peacock card base, and then added five 2024-2026 In Color Gems--one of each colour--to the corresponding strips!

Waves of Inspiration/Oceanfront Fun-Fold Thank You Card

I like this type of fun-fold card--it's unique!

Hello, and welcome to my blog! Thanks for stopping by!

First of all, this card is not as complicated as it seems! It's actually quite easy to make! If it looks familiar, it's because this is an updated version of one I designed quite a while ago (it's been made with current--for now!--products). I received a lovely email from a fellow Canadian demonstrator, wanting to make a video on how to make this card--she had seen my card on Pinterest. This request is what got me started making YouTube videos last March! There's a link to the YouTube tutorial for this card below (where you'll also find a free printable tutorial).

This is the card when it's closed--it fits into a regular envelope.

Secondly, these gorgeous stamp sets are retiring at the end of April, 2024. 😢 Our new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue launches May 1st, and to make room for some fabulous new products, there are a lot that will be retiring. I am really sad to be losing the Waves of Inspiration stamp set, Waves Dies, our Oceanfront stamp set, and Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels! These have been favourites of mine!

So although this card may look complicated, it's actually pretty simple to make! It takes a bit of time, but is so worth it for that special someone! Earthen Textures Thank You Card--West Coast Creators April Blog Hop

 

Hello and welcome to our April Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! This month we are featuring some of our favourite retiring products. Our new Annual Catalogue launches May 1st, and to make room for some fabulous new products, we will be losing some others (that are also fabulous!).

I used our soon-to-be-retired Earthen Textures stamps and dies, as well as the coordinating Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper (DSP). This cool fun-fold card was inspired by a recent team meeting Mystery Stamping session!
