Hello, Irresistible Thank You Card

Hello, and thanks for visiting my blog! And thank you VERY much for voting for my card--it placed eighth in Kylie Bertucci's February International Blog Highlights competition!! I am so honoured to be included in a group of talented designers from all over the world, and to have been invited to participate in the Top Ten Winners' Hop again! (I am posting my Top Ten card at the bottom of this blog entry, in case you didn't see it.)

I love our soon-to-be-released Hello, Irresistible suite! The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is stunning, and you can create really beautiful cards with it! This suite is not available yet, but customers will be able to order starting on March 1st, so stay tuned!

This card is super-quick to create! The paper is so gorgeous, so you don't need to do much more than show it off! You'll find full directions below.

Here is the card I submitted for this month's contest. Thanks again for voting it into the Top Ten! To see more photos and directions for the card below, click here.

If you live in Canada 🇨🇦 and don't presently have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I'd love to help you out! Shopping links are below.

Full Directions for My Hello, Irresistible Thank You Card:
  1. Cut the following layers:
    • Pretty Peacock Cardstock (this will be returning in May!): 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"; 5-1/4" x 1/2"
    • Hello, Irresistible DSP: 5-1/4" x 1-3/4" (two of these)
  2. Adhere strips of DSP to top and bottom of card front, leaving about a 1/8" margin.
  3. Stamp sentiment onto Pretty Peacock strip with Versamark, add white embossing powder, and set with Heat Tool.
  4. Adhere sentiment strip with Stampin' Mini Dimensionals.
  5. Add several Loose Frosted Dots with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I'd love for you to comment below, if you have a moment. 😊 Then be sure to check out the other Top Ten Winners' cards!!

  1. Kim, I love your card! It's beautiful!
Funny, that the typo is like ei, which means egg in German. ;-)

Congrats to the Top Ten and greetings from Germany, Simone

    1. Thanks, Simone! Are you referring to what looks like "ei" at the start of the sentiment? I think it's just a fancy squiggle, maybe?
