I had a lot of fun creating my Hippest Hippos card, and wanted to create a similar one. The Whale Done Bundle looked like a great set to work with!

I love our Effervescent Elements!

Our Effervescent Elements are so gorgeous! They are sooo pretty, and seem to reflect so beautifully and capture a fabulous bubble essence.

Thanks very much for stopping by--and for voting!!! If you like my card, please vote here--then remember to click on the top right corner of the thumbnail of my card (#2) until the heart turns red--that way you know that your vote is registered:

Full Directions for My Whale Done Thank You Card:
  1. Cut the following layers:
    • Tahitian Tide cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"; 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" (die cut a frame with second largest scalloped circle and second largest circle using Layering Circles Dies); punch splash pieces, and 5 whale belly pieces from leftover from scalloped circle frame using Whale Builder Punch
    • Basic White cardstock: 5" x 3-3/4"; 2-1/2" x 1-1/4" (stamp sentiment with Pacific Point and die cut with Stylish Shapes die)
    • Pacific Point cardstock: 5-5/16" x 3-7/8" (die cut circle using second largest Layering Circles die, and then dry emboss with Splatters 3D Embossing Folder)
    • Parakeet Party cardstock: 2" x 1" (stamp turtle with Parakeet Party ink pad and fussy-cut)
    • Shimmery White cardstock: 3-1/2" x 3-1/2"
    • Window Sheets: 3-1/2" x 3-1/2"
    • Vellum cardstock: 3-1/2" x 3" (die cut two seaweed pieces, then colour with Parakeet Party using a Water Painter or wet paintbrush)
    • Foam Adhesive Sheets: 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" (die cut in centre with second largest Layering Circles die)
  2. Stamp whale image with Memento ink onto Shimmery White piece, and mask whale image with Masking Paper, if desired. Add Tahitian Tide, Gorgeous Grape, and Pacific Point ink to background using Blending Brushes. Stamp seaweed with Parakeet Party. Stamp bubbles with Versamark ink, add white embossing powder, and set with heat tool.
  3. Remove backing from one side of the Foam Sheet and attach to Shimmery White layer, framing whale and seaweed as desired. Add about 1/2 teaspoon of Effervescent Elements inside the foam frame. Remove upper backing from Foam Sheet and carefully centre Window Sheet and attach.
  4. Adhere Window Sheet to back of Pacific Point piece, carefully matching the openings. Cut remaining Foam Sheet circle into strips, and attach to perimeter of back of Pacific Point layer, as well as any other necessary areas. Layer this onto the Basic White layer, and then onto the card base. Adhere the Tahitian Tide frame around the opening, and add seaweed, waves, and splash.
  5. Add turtle and sentiment with Dimensionals.
  6. Add three Polished Dots to card front.
